Handmade pottery is characterful and unique.
Pottery is the process of making objects with clay and other raw materials, which are fired at high temperatures to give them a hard and durable form. My place where I make handmade ceramic is called Pottery Spot.
The best thing about buying handmade pottery homeware is that it is completely unique, and it simply cannot be replicated by mass-manufacture.
Ceramic objects are made by combining naturally occurring raw materials, such as clay and water, and shaping them into forms using hand building, wheel-throwing or mould casting techniques. Once shaped, the object is fired in a kiln at a high temperature.
